The Space Needle is one of the iconic symbols of Seattle and is well known as one of the city’s top tourist attractions – and for good reasons. What we didn’t know before we began researching our trip is that it is located in an area known as Seattle Center which boasts a range of other attractions, including the stunning Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit.
Beating the location blues
It would be fair to say that Texas and I have a slightly fraught relationship. It hasn’t been an easy location for me in many ways but we’ve made it work. On the whole, I think that Houston and I have a healthy respect for each other these days.

Lessons from a rescue dog
A year ago we signed the adoption papers on a dog who has changed our lives in ways we never expected.
The journey to her adoption wasn’t straightforward. To be honest, it was fraught with doubts, fierce debate and the devastating loss of another dog last summer, a dog who despite being in our home for only a short while had become part of the family.
